A quick getaway

It’s been almost 2 months since what seems like the ‘world’ shut down due to Covid19. In our state the lockdown was not as strict as in other states. During this time we have been able to go to parks, ride our bikes, walk our dogs. I am very grateful for that. As my time to go back to work approaches I can’t help but reflect on how quick 6 weeks went by. I haven’t been off that long since my last child was born some 12 years ago. I am feeling restless even though the time was spent with my family, with my kids, making art, I feel something missing. If the circumstances were different I would have traveled during time. So as the state of Arizona started slowly to release some of the lockdown I had to get out, away from the city, into nature and into other smaller towns. The destination Kingman and Lake Havasu in NorthWest AZ.

A 2 day camping trip!!! We stayed in a KOA cabin. They are a bit more convenient than a tent, especially with 4 people and 2 dogs.

Enjoy some photos of my quick adventure.

Kingman, AZ

London Bridge – Lake Havasu

Somewhere on Route 66

Till next time my heart will patiently wait for another adventure!!!

Vesna
