Monoprint mandalas

Monoprint Mandalas

I can’t remember where I first saw this cool idea of using an old CD to make mono prints.   I’ve been wanting to try it for some time and when I noticed that my husband was cleaning a huge box of CDs that have been in our attic for a long long time I… Read More Monoprint mandalas

Travel Adventures – Hawaii, The Big Island

Hawaii - The Big Island

This summer we were able to get away from our scorching desert heat and fly away to Kona.  We’ve been there before, some 3-4 years ago and enjoyed it so much we had to come back to explore more. Where we stayed. We stayed at this cute, little eco-cottage, tucked in lush greenery that had… Read More Travel Adventures – Hawaii, The Big Island

Always beyond myself when The Smithsonian gets some of my blocks in their Artomat machine. The closest to ‘famous’ that I will ever feel hahaha. Just kidding. But I do feel secretly happy!!! #artomat
Remembering last winter’s trip to New Mexico and the kids seeing snow which is nothing short of a miracle for them. They wanted to touch and play every dirty snow patch they saw. No snow here ever, nothing that would stick on the ground. But it’s cold and gray today, I am feeling cold and pretending that winter has arrived. So I remember these photos and dug them out to get even deeper in the winter mood. Even though deep deep down I have been a desert rat for a long long long time.
