This last weekend I had the opportunity to go to one of Alisa Burke’s retreats. (by the way by popular demand she is offering the Art Journaling Alchemy again in June. See the details here )
Here are some highlights and photos:
* learning new techniques * trying new art supplies * meeting Alisa and Lucy * being inspired * being in the company of creative women * actually finishing some pages in my new art journal * learning that words in your journal don’t have to create anxiety about what to choose what to say. They can float of the page, be cut off the page, don’t have to make sense * restraining from judging myself agains the work of everyone else * being messy * being in a nice art studio * getting inspired to work on my own studio, currently called ‘the craft room’ *enjoying good food * smelling the fresh crisp Oregon coast air
