Scrap quilted cuffs
I am on vacation this week and taking the time to get ready for Junk in the Trunk. These are going to be cuffs, I need to add buttons. Or you could use them as bookmarks as well.

I practice small 1″ zentangles. I draw, color, then I tuck the tiny square between two pieces of glass. I add some lace on the back of the paper, to add an extra touch. I copper tape it, burnish, then solder. I noticed today that my choice of colors, it’s a little bit Dr. Seuss.
Making new things, finishing up old unfinished projects….. I made wrist pin cushions. Finished some necklaces. And these little collages are from a collage class I took recently.
Some weeks ago my little second hand (make that double second hand) laptop broke. It won’t connect to the internet anymore, even with an adapter. Exciting news! I am going to have space at a show called Junk in the Trunk. Their next market date is May 3. And in getting ready for it, I am rummaging trough my own boxes of ‘junk’, as well as making trips to the thrift and antique stores.
These are from some months ago, I forgot I made them. Old, empty matchboxes, I turned them into sweet little Valentine drawers.

I’ve been looking at tag art, and when it’s done well I admire the skill of assembling images in such a limited space. And I try it myself, I practice. Here are the results.
