On a recent road trip to New Mexico, I looked up local mom ‘n’ pop paper crafting stores in Santa Fe, and Guadalupe Fun Rubber Stamps came up.  Stores like these are real gems.  Super creative, and inspiring and since they are so small and on a tight budget you often get to meet the owner.  I checked to see if Guadalupe Fun Rubber Stamps has classes during the time I would be there.   They had a Gem Zentangle class on Saturday morning.  I’ve never heard of Gem Zentangle, although a long time ago I took a quick basic zentangle class.  So I decided to sign up.  Even though you know I was traveling with my family, but I am sure they will find something to do for a couple of hours.

But the two hours were worth for me.  Here are some samples of what I made in class.  And added bonus, the next night in our airbnb apartment, I taught Maggie how to do them and the two of us had a night of crafting, drawing zentangle jewels.
