Watercolor and zentangle

From time to time I try to give watercolor a try.  And although the results are nothing spectacular for now, each time I do a little better.

Last week I got as far as making circles about 1″ wide.  They stared at me, I stared back, lost about what to do next.  And I decided to fill them in with zentangle.

My little 5 year old daughter was much better, and braver than me.  She was bold in using the colors.  I learn from her.  She goes fast, she isn’t thinking about ‘what’s next’.  And that’s the best lesson when making art.
