It rained all day today and I am looking forward to cooler temperatures in the desert.  Other signs of fall arriving are gorgeous pumpkins greeting you in front of almost every store you go.  These were at Sprouts.

I tried to take advantage of the rainy weather today and be creative.  It worked for a while as I started making a new stash of paper beads.  But with kids around the distractions are endless.  Here is a conversation I overheard between Maggie and Patrick:

Maggie: I believe in God Patrick.  Because I believe in dog.  Dog spelled backwards is God.  You get it?

Patrick:  Are you sure.  I heard that God was invented to give people hope.  I saw an ad on YouTube about it.
